After reading the owner's odd response to my plea for customers to not buy into the puppy farm business I ask them: what do you think is my agenda? I can't even imagine what agenda I could have to want to falsely accuse someone of wilfully making their living from the abuse of the parents of their puppies.

Thank you once again Rose and Bob, we are busy choosing names now and will be in touch very soon.

It's true that a very few of these poor creatures find their way to Rescue after years of neglect and these individuals are never going to be your average pet but very broken animals who need a lot of care, but most are ordinary pups with hybrid vigour (and many purebreds too) or adult dogs no longer wanted or whose owners must give them up due to change in life circumstances.

We purchased Sooty toy poodle from Mt Lawley Pets & Puppies this year after loosing both our dogs, he has been happy and very healthy, no issues. We would recommend them to anyone. Price well we wanted a good dog. Also the business followed up on Sooty after a few weeks to check all was good, which is more than most pet places do.

I just want to close down puppy farms. I know any caring person wants the same. I get that the puppies in this store run happily in their large enclosures. I'm just sick about where their parents still are.

My husband and I were most impressed to observe the lengths you go to in your care of these delightful puppies. Clean and warm pens, lots of cuddles from you and your staff and regular checks and grooming and good nourishment.

It is sad that people state untruths without seeing how much love and care you put into your puppies.

It's easy to Google 'puppy farms'. Where else do you think that the pups (and kittens and fish and hermit crabs etc, etc) go? They go to PET SHOPS.

Please, please do not support this awful business. They have been implicated for years with the disgraceful puppy farms of the Eastern states and it's now been proven. The owners don't care! You can tell as much by their reaction. They don't care that their money comes from the horrible suffering of innocent creatures imprisoned on puppy farms churning out litter after litter for this store and others like it. It just boggles my mind that these people are happy with this arrangement. And please don't buy them because you feel sorry for the puppies either. Every purchase supports the puppy farm industry. Let these pups in the store get past the cute impulse buy stage when they'll be passed on to Rescues. The Day Nobody Buys A Puppy From A Pet Store Is The Day That Puppy Farms Go Bust! We can do this. I'm proud to be an animal activist though it's used as an insult by these owners. YOU can be one too. Adopt, don't shop! If you must have a purebred puppy, buy from a breeder with a fabulous reputation where you can visit the puppy's home, see the parents, choose by interacting, have all the vaccination certificates (not just the first), have desexing included in the price and pay a reasonable price. Please help action the abolition of the foul puppy farm business by refusing to deal with any other business which supports it. People power can make it happen. Be a part of something wonderful!

We bought our beautiful Beaglier, Zoe, back in June. She is the best thing that has ever happened to our family. She is full of beans and so loving. I would highly recommend Mt Lawley Pets as they were so helpful and always put the pet first, I could put my full trust into their advice. And the after care was also great, phone calls and text messages seeing how Zoe was going really showed their love for what they do. Thank you for all your great work!

We fell in love with our dog Annie at Mt Lawley Pets and Puppies. It was mutual attraction! Staff were well informed and educated us about pet ownership. We were buying a life! Annie is now part of our home and family life. My experience with Mt Lawley Pets and Puppies was very favourable.

Just a quick note to thank you so much for allowing my family and I to visit your puppy runs. The children were very concerned after hearing some unpleasant stories about 'PUPPY FARMS' and they were thrilled to see such happy puppies running around in their special play area having a wonderful time.
